toggle spell rank macroline?

anyone have anything for this? i have a macro that casts earthshock, +shift=frostshock, is there a way that i could program say +ctrl to toggle rank 1 casts to max rank?

edit: id also be interested in the possibility of having 2 macros and hot keys... one for max ranks that on ctrl+ would switch the shift frostshock with a fire shock, ctrl +again would ideally switch back to frostshock on shift+... and one for min ranks that would do the same

Not sure about the first option.

Your edit sounds doable with a second modifier. Could also do it with just keybindings to the ranks of spells (requires a lot of Action Bar buttons), which is how I do my different traps and aspects. Example: Button1 = Ice Trap. Alt+B1 = Frost (AOE Ice). Shift+B1 = Immolation (Fire). Alt+Shift+B1 = Explosive (AOE Fire).

I might look into your query later when I get home. I imagine this would be useful for healing spells with ranks as well.

I think (I may have spell names wrong here, but you'll get the point) that if you did something to the effect of:

#showtooltip
/cast [harm, nomodifier] Earth Shock; [harm, modifier:shift] Frost Shock; [harm, modifier:ctrl] Earth Shock(Rank 1); [harm, modifier:ctrl, modifier:shift] Frost Shock(Rank 1);

That SHOULD cast max rank ES and FS on the keys you're currently using, and r1 if you ctrl.

If you need to add focus casting or anything, holler.  I like playing with macros.

looking for a macro with 2 modifiers to cast my 3 different resistance totems with shift and alt being the two modifiers...
also would like to have frames of my last hostile, and last friendly target, as i think these would be invaluable in arena...just hooked up my xperl frames for focus and targets, loving it
